We aim to provide you with a healthy breakfast before you leave in the morning - including your choice of our own mix of muesli, fruit salad or fruit compote, home-made bread/toast and marmalade and locally-sourced bacon, sausages and eggs.
But during the day, and in the evenings, you will need to fend for yourselves. Here are a few suggestions:
From a delicious cup of coffee and slice of cake, through to a lovingly prepared lunch of fresh local produce, Wiveton Hall Café is one of the "must go" destinations along the coast. As seen on BBC2's "Normal for Norfolk", Wiveton Hall is home to Mary's brother Desmond. It lies just off the coast road between Blakeney and Cley, and is only about 25 minutes from us by car. On a fine day you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the salt marshes, and in the summer they also do tapas and wood-fired pizza evenings at weekends. Booking essential.
Just 5 minutes walk up Wells Road will get you to our local pub: The Jolly Farmers, which serves home-cooked lunches and dinners (from 7.00pm) using both seasonal and local ingredients. They close early on Sundays and are shut Mondays & Tuesdays. Booking advised most nights.
