Mary - who works under her maiden name of MacCarthy - is a professional artist whose work ranges across commissioned paintings, murals, decorative art and design. Her work has been featured in many magazines including The World of Interiors and the New York Times and her Rose Pattern design for Emma Bridgewater has been one their best-selling and most collectible ranges. She works from her home studio when possible and her pictures are hung around the house with many available for sale - as well as her range of popular postcards.
Has been working in broadcast television for over 30 years and is often in London during the week editing programmes for all the major channels - including recently Horizon, Phil Spencer's Stately Homes and The Day I Fell. He also works on the oral history of the North Norfolk coast and has made over 100 short films for the Stiffkey-based charity Rescue Wooden Boats.
